More of The Same

I debated on even posting these pics because I have already done a post on both of them, but I decided its been awhile since we have seen the Angry Birds :). People seem to love the Angry bird cookies so I do them often. So here is a quick run down on some Angry Birds and Toy Story cookies.

Picture Overload and Apple Pie

I am giving you a fair warning that there are going to be a lot of pictures in this post, so grab a snack. :)
First off, John Deere cookies for sweet Melissa.

I love the modern twist on an old theme. All of her decorations were so cute and looked straight out of a party planning magazine!
Happy Birthday Grayson!!
Next I did a graduation party for some sweet friends. Jordan ordered these cookies for her boyfriend who graduated and is going to the U of A in the fall.

Jordan originally asked for bow ties, and I asked if I could throw in a few ties too. :) I was so excited to you my Arkansas cutter. My sweet friend Sarah got this for me and I have been waiting to use it!

I asked Jordan to send me a pic with the cookies....

So cute! :)

Next up, teacher appreciation.

My sister found some cookies similar to these on Pinterest, and asked me to do them for her girls teachers. I LOVE doing things that are out of the ordinary. I think my dream will be to eventually stop selling cookies and just create crazy cookies all day.

I definitely have come to appreciate all that teachers do after Parker being in "school" one day a week. I also have two sisters that are teachers. They are underpaid, overworked, and have some serious patience (that I do not have).
Thank you teachers for teaching our little ones!

I also did some ballet cookies for my SIL but somehow forgot to take pics so I'll have to bum some off of her :).

I ordered some cookie cutters a couple of weeks ago and in that order was this:

This is the COOLEST. COOKIE CUTTER. EVER.

It is a cutter that makes a flat piece of pie.

I just think this is the cutest thing! These would be a perfect fourth of July treat, and they are super easy to make.

Happy Wednesday!

Candy Bar and Graduation

Somehow I ended up with a gazillion cookies this week, and I'm still alive......barely.
My third order of the week was for a "candy bar" party.

I  did these for the KDO staff where Parker goes one day a week. When they asked me to do these I was more than glad because we have LOVED being part of this program. Parker looks forward to going to "school" every week, and his teachers couldn't be sweeter (seriously there was no pun intended and I debated on changing this, but thought it was kind of cute :).

I loved all of these bright colors!

Next I did some graduation cookies for some sweet friends who had a weekend full of graduation parties!

The graduate is headed to TCU!

Next up, a John Deere birthday party and a Razorback themed graduation party!

I had to share this story about Parker this week:
Parker got an angry birds game for his birthday and he has LOVED it. Its just a bunch of birds and blocks where you build your own towers and use a sling shot to knock the blocks down. The game also came with the pigs that you knock off of the blocks.
My Mom called me yesterday and told me she had found a pig at her house, to tell Parker and she would save it so he could come get it. I told him that Gigi (that's what the kids call my Mom) had found a pig and was saving it for him.
So I was asking Parker if he wanted to go over to their house and he got really excited and said "YES! Let's go get my pig!!!"
Poor guy thought he was getting a pet pig. Not so much buddy, not so much. This is a little more like it:

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Getting Back in the Swing of Things

We are slowly getting back into a normal routine after two weeks of weddings, birthday parties, and ending the craziness with Mothers Day. Even though we had a lot happening, it was all fun stuff and we had a really special couple of weeks!
My little sisters wedding was BEAUTIFUL and couldn't have been more perfect. She had all of her neices and nephews in the wedding, and they all did exactly what they were supposed to and it was adorable!

The kids sat and played so patiently in the bridal suite while they were waiting for the wedding to start.

Taylor was bumming food of of Elle here. Aren't these dresses the sweetest things ever?!

Parker thinks Regan and Riley (my big sister's twins) hung the moon. I love the kids having sweet cousins to grow up with, the five of them together is quite the party!

And of course a picture of the bride. Doesn't she look gorgeous! Her dress was so pretty. My parents married their last daughter off and their bank account is rejoicing :).

We ended the weekend with Mothers Day and we had a nice, relaxing day of doing nothing. It was great!

I am so blessed God chose me to be their Mom. I couldn't be crazier about them!

Jason also got me a mothers ring for mothers Day. I have wanted one for a while, and he surprised me with it on my birthday (May 10th). I LOVE it!

Peyton's name is on the other side :).

With the end of all of our fun stuff came the beginning of another week of cookies!
I started off the week with a set of elephant and chevron cookies for a sweet baby girl.

and another set of CARS cookies!

I really love these guys. By the time I am ready to ship them off I feel like they are my friends, ha!

I am back on my busy cookie schedule so I will be posting some more fun ones this week!

Favorite Things

After my sister's wedding my cookies will pick back up again, so I thought I would do a fun post not related to cookies before I get busy again. I thought I would share a few of my favorite things right now.

My Basil Plant.
I have always bought basil in the "bunch" in the produce section of my grocery store. I bought a plant last year, and will never by in the bunch again! The cost of the plant and the cost of one bunch of basil is the same, but with the plant you have as much as you need.

Fresh picked strawberries.
My dad has always had a big garden, and one of my very favorite parts is the strawberries. I usually make jam, strawberry pancakes, and anything else strawberry I can think of!

Homemade Stain Remover
(Dawn dish soap, peroxide, and baking soda)
I found this combination after Taylor dumped an entire cup of coffee on a white dress she was wearing. I combined equal amounts of the three with water and let the dress soak in it overnight. When I checked it the next morning it looked brand new!

Maybelline Falsies Mascara
I grabbed this by accident at Walgreen's, and I am loving it! It stays on all day and makes my eyelashes look much longer and thicker. I will say it is hard to get off, but that brings me to my next favorite........

Rimmel Gentle Eye Make Up Remover
It is gentle and it works. If you buy the mascara, go ahead and pick this up because you aren't getting it off without a remover.

My new shoes.
They are easy to dress up, dress down, and are super comfortable! I love ALDO and seem to always find what I need there!

Jesus Calling
I bought this App. for my phone and I have loved it. Each day seems to be just what I need at the time.

 Aprons made by Kari Beth
owner of Elle and Ollie
I mean seriously, aren't these the cutest?! I try to find an excuse every day to have the kids wear them.

I saved my most favorites for last......

I am blessed. I love these three like crazy.
